A very nice set of the author's multi-award winning Outer Hebrides-set crime trilogy. The first volume was declined by all of the major UK publishers before eventually being issued in translation in May's adoptive France in 2009 where it was deemed a masterpiece, scooped up multiple awards and was subsequently distributed by Quercus in the UK and US..
